Benefiting the Pacific Symphony

Music and wine—some might call it the perfect pairing. It’s with great anticipation that Pacific Symphony launches its first annual—and very exclusive—wine auction, featuring some of the most highly sought-after wines in Southern California , on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 , at the elegant and private Pacific Club in Newport Beach . The event is not only a new one for the organization, but it is considered an especially exciting and important fundraiser to support the Symphony’s artistic and educational programs. Pacific Symphony Wine Auction, co-chaired by board members Mike Kerr and Fred Salter, takes place at a unique time for the organization—following on the heels of numerous milestone achievements, many of which were only made possible through the support of patrons and the community. The wine auction begins with a champagne reception and silent auction, followed by a dinner and live auction. Tickets, which are limited in number, are $250 per person.
